January  2011

Dear Trusted Mebmber of Central Ohio,

My name is Phillip Je’sus Patrick and I am writing you on behalf of the Seeds of Significance Conference on Urban Farming.

The vision of Seeds of Significance conference is to unite community garden enthusiasts in Central Ohio; promote urban agriculture to churches schools and child care facilities; influence public policy; promote healthy eating habits; build a system that encourages supporting local farmers markets and co-ops and bring awareness to food injustices.

We recognize and highly respect the work you have done and continue to do.

However, children and families in Columbus, Ohio are in crisis and our collective future needs your help.

We believe that you share a similar vision and would be an ideal partner in this work. We also believe that if we join together, we will have a greater impact on strengthening our children, families and communities here in Columbus.

To that end, we would like the opportunity to meet with you to discuss how we might support each other in this effort.

Please join us on Monday January 31, 2011 - 2pm at the United Way of Central Ohio, 360 South Third Street so that we may further discuss potential of our powerful and empowering partnership.

Thank you for all you do to support children and families in our community.

P. Je’sus Patrick
