Picasa 3 and Picasa Web Albums work together to help us all to manage our ever-growing collections of digital images. It helps us to organize them, edit them, print them, and share them!

Picasa is downloadable image/photo software application and viewer for organizing and editing digital photos on your home computer.

Picasa has file importing features for home computer files, digital camera, mobile phones and tablets, as well as direct syncing with other installed image software programs. It offers basic photo editing functions, including color enhancement, red-eye reduction, and cropping. You can change an image filter to sepia, HDR, black & white, etc...Other features include slide shows, printing, and picture timelines. Images can also be prepared for external use, such as for e-mailing or printing. In addition, Picasa syncs images stored in other image software on your computer as well as images stored on the web, in Facebook, and/or iTunes.

Picasa Web Album is a photo-sharing web application that allows users to upload and access photos and images remotely from any computer or mobile device with Internet access. 

Images taken on a mobile device can be uploaded to the internet and managed in Picasa Web Albums through your free Google Plus account. This way, mobile device images and shared photo albums can be synced with Picasa 3 software, wirelessly, on your home base computer.
