About Our Organization

Second Chance Paws.....who are we?

We are a group of ordinary people that have taken on the extraordinary
task of placing homeless animals with their "furever" families. We are a
small group of dedicated ladies. We do not operate a shelter. We do this
from our homes with the help of our families. We provide veterinary care,
vaccines, spay/neuter surgery, for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals
to the public. We rely on fellow animal lovers to open their homes to these
animals until they can be placed in a "furever" home. We make every effort
to ensure that all of our animals are spayed/neutered, if age appropriate,
and all animals are vaccinated before they are adopted. At this time, our
vet bills are at an all time high as we currently have 25 animals and counting
in foster care that have required vaccines, spay/neuter and medical care.

Just in December we spent $2200.00 on veterinary care and spay/neuter and
we also paid for 8 crates totaling $530.00 that were needed to transport the
dogs rescued from the City Shelter. We cannot continue this work without your help.
If you are interested in contributing to our rescue, please consider making a donation,
fostering an animal, or volunteering at one of our adoption events. We are a non-profit
501c3 organization and we rely solely on donations from the public. All donations are
tax deductible and we rely on people like you to help us carry out our mission. If you
have any questions about what we do and where the donations go, please call us and
all of your questions will be answered with documentation of proof. All we want to is
to be able to continue to save these babies. Will you please help us?

Thank You,
