Call to Worship       (Isaiah: 25)

L:  O LORD, You are my God;

P: I will exalt You, I will praise Your name;

L: For You have done wonderful things,

P: Plans formed of old, faithful and sure.
L: On this mountain the Lord of hosts will make for all peoples a feast of rich food,

P: Of rich food filled with marrow, of well-aged wines strained clear.

L: And He will destroy on this mountain the shroud that is cast over all peoples,

P: The sheet that is spread over all nations; He will swallow up death forever.
L: Then the Lord God will wipe away the tears from all faces,

P: The disgrace of His people He will take away from all the earth,

L: For the Lord has spoken.
P:  It will be said on that day, Lo, this is our God;

L: We have waited for Him, that He might save us.

All: This is the Lord for whom we have waited; let us be glad and rejoice in His salvation.

Community Prayer (unison)

Oh Heavenly Father, You have shown us love and grace in so many ways, yet we continue to follow our own ways and forget. We have not always given thanks for the blessings You bestow and we often use our extra resources to benefit ourselves. Forgive us for taking it all for granted, for not sharing the resources that are made available to us. Help us respond to Your love and grace with thanksgiving while doing the work of Your Church here in the glory of Your name. Amen
