I am Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Mannheim (currently on leave). I am visiting UC Berkeley and SIEPR at Stanford University during the Academic Year 2017-18.

My research is on the intersection of Public Economics, Economic Policy and Labor Economics. I am currently studying the effects of local business and property taxes on various labor market outcomes, such as wages, employment and rents. My work has been published in the American Economic Review, the Journal of Public Economics and the European Economic Review among others.

You can find links to my current papers in the Research Section.
