After considerable discussion and deliberation
between the event organizers for the Seattle Old Bike Swap and many of our
regular vendors, the decision has been made to merge into the Tacoma Bike Swap
Meet in lieu of continuing to produce our traditional stand-alone event.
The Tacoma event is
sponsored by the City of Tacoma and with
that comes a dedicated event staff, expanded event promotion capabilities, the
use of the UPS field house, and the potential to offer our wares and to showcase our
hobby to a much larger section of the bicycling public than we can attract to
our segment-specific swap meet.
This merger was also discussed with the organizers
of the Tacoma event and they are excited to have us join them and have offered us
contiguous vending spaces for our vintage themed vendors as far as that is
desired and is practicable.
and vendor registration will be handled by the Tacoma Bike Swap Meet and their Eventbrite registration site is now
open and accessible through the following link:
If you will be vending at this event and would like to be located in
proximity to other vintage vendors please add the phrase “Seattle Old
Bike Swap Vendor” to the space titled “other information” at the bottom of the
form when you register.
