Students for Environmental Awareness

a registered student organization

at the University of Texas at Dallas

SEA is a student-centered initiative on the UTD campus to increase awareness of environmental issues and to promote pro-environmental action.

We recently worked with the university to add and later augment a comprehensive recycling program for the on-campus apartments, as well as to install more bins in the main areas of campus for plastic and aluminum recycling.

We also have events on campus and in the community to raise environmental awareness, such as Earth Day in April and Texas Recycles Day in November. Thank you to everyone who helped make our recent events a big success!

We generally meet every other Tuesday at 10:00pm in the Student Union, but you can view our entire meeting schedule if you have  Google Calendar. Or look for our events and meetings on UTD's Comet Calendar.
