2012 STANDINGS

The 208's won their second championship in dramatic fashion as JJ Hardy hit a two run walk off home run in the bottom of the 12th to win the SDSL championship against the WIB.

The WIB, in their first playoff run, made the finals by taking out the favored Big Macs 3 straight. The WIB then needed 7 games to dispose of the Enforcers setting up a 7th vs 8th SDSL final.

The WIB rode the back of Michael Pineda to the finals with Tulowitzki tying the game in the top of the ninth with a home run to make it 1-1 only to lose in the bottom of the 12th.

The 208's championship run started out by beating the Avolanche 3 games to one and then stopping the Overbays in 6 games. The 208's rode the clutch pinch hitting of Ryan Doumit and JJ Hardy to take their second SDSL championship.
