2006 SDSL FINAL STANDINGS
DURHAM DIVISION
SCARBOROUGH DIVISION
A Brand new champion was crowned in the 2006 season as the Triple A beat out the Avolanche 8-6 in the final game of a hard fought 7 game series. All the games were very close except for a 24-8 blowout win for the Avolanche as the Triple A had to start Toma Oka in place of the injured Ben Sheets. Oka was nowhere to be found after the beating. Ashes of his card were later found in the fire pit beside the winless Roger Clemens. The road to the final was fairly easy for the two very strong and evenly matched teams. The Avolanche easily swept the Big Macs in the first semi final. The Big Macs reached the semi final by beating the Lucky 7 four games to two. The Triple A easily swept their semi final against the 208’s. The 208’s shocked the SDSL with an easy 4 games to 1 win against the heavily favoured Enforcers to reach the final.
