2005 SDSL FINAL STANDINGS
DURHAM DIVISION
SCARBOROUGH DIVISION
Once again the defending champion Junkyard Dogs advanced to the playoffs on the last series of the season, putting fear into every other team as thoughts of three-peat was in the air. The Dogs easily got by the Avolanche but ran into a brick wall named the Enforcers and saw their run end in the semi-finals. The Tuggers Nuts dominated the Catalyst in the quarterfinals and surprisingly easily beat one of the favourites in the T-Bombers in the semi-finals. This brought the clash of the titans in the final with the undefeated Enforcers going against the hitting happy Tuggers Nuts. The series proved to be one of the best in strato history as after 7 complete games both teams were tied with 3 wins a piece and were tied after 9 innings of game 7. Finally though history was made in the bottom of the 10th as the Enforcers scored the championship winning run to defeat the Tuggers Nuts and become the first team to not lose a series all season long. To top off a great season the Enforcers also broke the record for best winning percentage of all time.
