| BEHOLD THE CUP !|
The San Diego Cup is a new series of tournaments held over the course of the season designed to name an overall Champion at the end. Cup points will be awarded to the top 32 finishers of every event. Most are SANCTIONED USFA events, and medals will be awarded at the event for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Total points will accumulate over the season in order to crown an end-of-the-year champion. The more events in each category you enter, the more points you accumulate toward that championship!
There are several categories that will crown SD Cup Champions:
OPEN MIXED: All three weapons, sanctioned, open to anyone born 2000 or earlier.
VETERAN MIXED: All three weapons; sanctioned, mixed gender, open to anyone born 1975 or earlier
WOMEN: All three weapons; sanctioned, open to all women born 2000 or earlier.
HIGH SCHOOL: All three weapons; sanctioned, this cup series will be listed as Junior events and will be open to any in the Junior age group (1994-2000). However, only High School students are eligible for High School Cup Points and the championship.
YOUTH: Including Y10 (unsanctioned), Y12 (unsanctioned), and Y14 (sanctioned) events in all three weapons. This cup series will take the place of the middle school team format previously used.
