Dave's catch...

Great fishing...as usual

Dave always catches fish. Always. Here he is with Ellee and a redfish. Every year at spring break neighbors are always grateful to Ellee for catching Pompano for them. She is a terrific angler.

Dave Peterson and Ted Furman caught 5 reds yesterday. Big ones eh? If you want to catch fish along the South Walton 30a shoreline, find Dave!

Gary Fleming - Pompano float

Gary Fleming told me to "Feel free to add this endorsement" so here it is:

"Dave's floating Sculpin jigs are often the difference between catching fish and going home empty handed....and if you get a chance to hear Dave talk about how and where to catch pompano, I would suggest that you listen carefully!"

Mason from Dallas Texas caught this 38" Redfish on one of my floats. We were at the Goatfeathers access between Blue Mountain and Santa Rosa Beach. The same day we hooked a 5 foot blacktip shark. The blacktip finally broke the pompano float.

It's been on and off catchin fish this winter but on the days the water warms up, the fishing is good.

The fishing is fierce

Redfish, pompano, black drum, whiting...you want it, we're catching it. Have a look at who's catching fish.

We're fishin' and we're catchin'. The winter is unseasonably warm this year on the Northwest Florida coast and the fish are out there. We've been eating plenty of Pompano at our house.  Check out Who's Catching Fish to see more.
John Neste got himself a good looking Redfish. Well done John!
