Santa Clara University Alaska Immersion Trip 2014

Join us this summer as we spend two weeks in Alaska exploring the social, environmental, and economic factors related to sustainable development and frugal engineering, specifically in the context of working with villagers in Alaska in their endeavor to bring renewable energy solutions to their rural communities. Engage in a dialogue with Alaskan leaders, SCU faculty and staff, and fellow undergraduate business, engineering, and arts and sciences students about the implications of your experience. Learn how a systems-based, interdisciplinary approach to problem-solving can be a powerful tool to elicit change in our world. This trip is open to freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors in all majors.
