This car was built as a road car but soon turned into a race/hill climb car it can still be used on the road

The car has had a complete Archers Speedwell conversion including
Front Speedwell Monza front
Speedwell fastback rear body
FIA race internal cage front and rear and door bars
Taken back to bare shell
Sandblasted chassis and primed
Floors both sides replaced
Painted in red inside and outside, with dipped front in cream
New race engine with 1330cc and big valve 11 stud Cooper S unleaded head
Kent cams STR 930 camshaft with Kent competition oil pump and followers
Vernier cams 102 ATDC
Twin 1.5 SU carburetors refurbished with open bell mouths on modified MG B manifold
Braided stainless fuel lines
New Petronix Electronic ignition distributor,
race battery.
New Starter motor,
Peter May wedges suspension lowering inc front spacers
Converted to alternator
More efficient re cored radiator,
All new hoses.
MSA towing straps
Differential rebuilt 3.7 with 4.55 alternative
straight cut close ration Gearbox from Hardy engineering
Suspension rebuilt with lowered springs
Sparco race seat
10 inch steering wheel
Later separate brake/clutch reservoirs including new pipes and braided hoses
Up rated rear brakes yellowstuff race pads to front
All new brake pipes
New 8 mm fuel lines
Plumbed in fire extinguisher system including handheld
Pair of removable acrylic 4 mm windows
Completely rewired on 8 fuses
13 row oil cooler
New water pump no bypass hose
Facet electronic red top fuel pump x 2
Mallossi fuel pressure regulator
11/16 front roll bar
New High ratio steering rack and rod ends
Cut off switch on dash and scuttle
Electrical T bar on top scuttle and fire extinguisher T bar
Full stainless big bore exhaust with manifold
6 Gallon aluminium race/ hill climb fuel tank
Auxiliary fuel tank 1 litre
Minilights with Yokohama AO48R 175/60/13 Medium compound race tyres
Minilights with Yokohana A539 175/60/13 used as wets or differing classes
