My inspiration to scrapbooking includes my wonderful husband, James and three spunky kids, Sean, Kaitlyn, & Liam. We live in northwest Alabama, but tend to travel more than hang out around the house. My middle child, Kaitlyn, was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when she was barely 18 months old. This is a deadly disease that has no cure. I started ‘Scrapping for a Cure’ in 2009 out of the need to give support in finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. I had worked in management positions in various scrapbook stores for 8 years which gave me the knowledge and ‘know-how’ in organizing events. I have the great support from my husband, sisters, and close friends that make this event possible.

‘The Collector’

Though I love to scrapbook, when it comes to scrapbooking, I am more of a collector. In my busy life, I tend to find more time to buy product rather than use the product. Most of my crafting time is used to make scrapbooks of my children. I have tried other crafts, but have found that they are more of a headache.
