Scouts and Parents -
Our "Scouting for Food" Drive has been planned for several weeks, and has been advertised on the radio and in the Carthage Tribune.
Last Saturday morning, scouts from Troop 54 showed-up, and for 4 hours they went door-to-door through Carthage and distributed these flyers to over 300 families.
This coming Saturday we need EVERY SCOUT IN THE TROOP, and several parents/drivers to participate in the food and can collection portion of this great event. Our efforts will be of great service to those in need during the holidays, and we hope to make a few dollars for the troop while we are at it.
This is a very worthwhile community service event that hinges on the efforts of EVERY SCOUT IN THE TROOP. Look at your calendars, move what you can, and please make the effort to be at the Scout Hut at 0900 Saturday - dressed in wark coats, boots, hats, gloves.
Confirmation of your attendance would be greatly appreciated, simply email firstname.lastname@example.org, or reply to this Facebook post.
We'll see you Saturday!
