Troop 100 was chartered in January 2009 - the result of a collaborative partnership between the Piedmont BSA Council, Beebe Memorial Cathedral, and the 100 Black Men of the Bay Area. The goal of Troop 100 is to extend the benefits of scouting to boys in the East Bay who might not otherwise be exposed to Boy Scouts and scouting activities. We welcome boys with or without prior scouting experience to come and have fun while learning valuable skills that will help you achieve more in life.
Troop 100 has an outing every month, including a camping trip that takes place at least every other month. Recent activities in addition to camping have included, rock climbing, ice scating, a trip to California Academy of Sciences, a Stanford University campus tour and football game, and an Oakland A's game.
Adult Leaders include three Eagle Scouts, one former Scoutmaster, one former Cub Scout Pack Leader, and a former Boy Scout Executive
Meetings are held 1st and 3rd Fridays from 6:30pm - 8:00pm and monthly outings occur on the 4th weekend of the month. (See calendar for more specifics on planned activities).
