J.O.T.A.

JOTA is Jamboree on the Air in which Scouts get on the air via Amature (“Ham”) Radio to talk with other Scouts in North America. This is the 53rd Jamboree on the Air and it’s organized by the World Scouting Bureau. Not only is this an opportunity for your troop to talk with other troops in Canada and the USA, it’s a chance for your Scouts to be introduced to the lifetime hobby of  Amateur Radio.

The Ultimate Survival Scout Camp

The 3rd Bridgewater Scout Troop will be hosting for the 3rd year running a “Survival” themed fun camp. Teamwork by the youth to strategize, out wit, out play and out last other teams. This camp is also a bridging event for 3rd year Cubs, with a moving up Investiture Ceremony at the end of the camp. A great way to end a Scouting season and encourage youth to meet new friends and stay involved in a growing program.  Should other groups be interested in attending (limited space available).

Registration date no later than Apr. 30th 2011
