Coach Bill Carey said of “Tree” Wallace, “he always gives 100%"

Scotty “Tree” Wallace is a native of Paris, Texas. At a lean 6’ 7” Scotty posed a formidable threat to opposing basketball teams. He attended Paris Jr. College where he started as a small forward. After Jr. College, he joined the U.S. Navy and continued his basketball career with the All Navy Team from 1978- 1981. Even during the preseason for his All-Navy team he was a dominant scorer and rebounder. Coach Bill Carey said of “Tree” Wallace, “he always gives 100%… he is a credit to the U.S. Navy and an excellent player on the team.” After leaving the Navy in 1981 Scotty was asked to attend a “By Invitation Only” NBA summer camp for top NBA prospects from around the nation.

"Nonetheless, Scotty has used his basketball experience as a platform to appeal to both young and old alike."
