The school starts Mo, 23/09/2013 and lasts until Fr, 27/09/2013. The first talk on Monday is at 9:15 am. Registration is possible from 8:30 until 9 am on Monday.

Laboratoire de Mathématiques et Applications, Université de Poitiers, France.

Topics and aim of the school

We organise a one-week school on Rational curves on algebraic varieties following the book "Higher dimensional algebraic geometry" by Olivier Debarre. Participants should have a good working knowledge on the subject at the end of the week. The program of the lectures is determined by the organisers.

  • Samuel Boissière (Université de Poitiers, France)
  • Marc Nieper-Wißkirchen (Universität Augsburg, Germany)
  • Alessandra Sarti (Université de Poitiers, France)

The school is open to everyone working on an advanced graduate or postgraduate level in algebraic geometry. If possible, each of the participants should give a lecture on the subject of the school.

All lectures are already taken. If you are interested in participating to the conference, please contact the organisers. Unfortunately, since we have very limited fundings we are not able to cover the expenses of each participant so only the hotel and local expenses of the speakers will be covered.

There will be no registration fee. Please register yourself on Monday, 23/09/2013, 8:30 am.

All participants are accomodated in the Hotel de l'Europe, 39 rue Lazare Carnot, 86000 Poitiers. It is located in the center of Poitiers, not far from the main train station.
