Welcome to the Schaumburg Area Photographic Society!

Founded in 1977, the Schaumburg Area Photographic Society is dedicated to the enjoyment of the photographic experience.
Our lively, active group offers learning opportunities designed to help members expand and improve their photo imaging skills. Programs and workshops are held on meeting nights and consist of informative speakers, how-to demonstrations, and hands on workshops. T
hroughout the year there are several three-day weekend outings as well as local day trips.

SAPS members represent all levels of photographic expertise ranging from beginner through advanced amateur and professional. Looking for a Schaumburg camera club? Our friendly members always welcome newcomers and guests! We are happy to help you learn to get the most out of your photography hobby, whether your camera is a simple point-and-shoot or a pro level instrument.

Member photographers use a variety of photographic media, ranging from traditional darkroom to digital imaging.

SAPS is a member of (CACCA) "Chicago Area Camera Clubs Association" and (PSA) "Photographic Society of America".
