Hands & Voices is a nationwide non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families of children who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as the professionals who serve them. We are a parent-driven, parent/professional collaborative group that is non-biased about communication modes and methodologies. Our diverse membership includes those who are deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing impaired and their families who communicate manually and/or orally. We exist to help our children reach their highest potential.

Make a Parent Referral
A referral can be made by a provider (e.g. Audiologist, Speech Pathologist, or Education staff in Birth to 3 programs and School Districts) on behalf of your clients OR a parent/guardian making a self-referral. After a referral is made, SCHV will initiate contact with the family within one week to discuss program components / supports and ask the family if they would like to be involved. Click here to complete.
           Monthly Newsletter
SCHV is pleased to announce the launch of monthly SCHV Newsletters. The purpose of the newsletter is to feature information, resources, and events tailored to deaf and hard or hearing families and the professionals who serve them. Click here to subscribe and click the "Newsletters" tab for monthly editions.
Parent Interest Survey
In an effort to better meet support needs and expand reach to the deaf and hard of hearing community we serve, we seek parent input on monthly meeting times and topics and additional social activities and event times. Click here to complete the parent survey.
