At 11 am on Saturday 6th April 2013, Harrow Green Community Library opened its doors to the public for the very first time, at the Epicentre in Leytonstone.

The address of the libary is as follows:

 Regular bus service 257 from Walthamstow Central Bus Station passes the end of the road

On opening day, a drinks reception took place within the library itself, followed by speeches and readings in an adjacent meeting room, chaired by Ros Kane from the Harrow Green library  volunteers.
