Sammy Roy and the Santa Cruz Beach Cowboys go back to the late 1990s.

Sammy plays the bass and he also sings lead.  He started his musical career during his high school years in the Palo Alto area. His first bass lesson was from a guy named Jerry Garcia.  Sammy's high school band was signed by Columbia Records.  His band played with San Francisco area bands such as Santana, Quick Silver Messenger, Lydia Pense, Tower of Power, Sly Stone, Credence Clearwater, Stevie Nicks, and Janice Joplin's Big Brother.

Randy Sauro plays the guitar and sings. Randy started playing accordion at the age of 6.  At the age of 13, Randy's passion for guitar began after listening to the first Jimi Hendrix album that has inspired him to play over the past 50 years. Randy has mastered Rock and Roll with his own unique style, and he plays other genres of music as well. Randy has toured over much of the US, Baja California, and England.
