I teach music-is-fun classes like no one else on Earth:

YOU will be MAKING MUSIC when I put REAL INSTRUMENTS into YOUR HANDS!!

I provide a service of direct hands-on music experience for any age, but I developed it with preschool and elementary-age children near Willingboro, NJ at Different & Wonderful Learning Center. The children forgot my name but called me, "The Music Man." Your class, scout/AWANA group, Vacation Bible School, club, or after-school activity can be NEXT to share my collection of instruments of different families, along with microphone fun for everyone! 

For Learning Centers or a school assembly or Music class,

I will drive to your location, bring in my equipment, teach and entertain briefly while demonstrating the requested family of instruments, and ensure that all who attend receive a turn trying to make real music on a real instrument. Karaoke-style singing with a recording or even while I accompany on piano or guitar is a favorite. The different families of instruments I have available to share includes:

- percussion/drums/marching drums

- keyboards/chromatic percussion

- brass instruments (3 valves/slide)

- saxophones (4 sizes)

- flutes and whistles/recorders (4 sizes)

- bowed strings (3 sizes)

- guitars/banjos/electric bass

- amplification effects for microphone/other sound sources

- I recommend reserving a minimum of 50 minutes and groups no larger than 10 - 12 at a time simply because everyone wants individual time playing the provided instruments.

- This is not a quiet activity, so please do not schedule at the same time as regular naps. 

- Likewise, children become very excited to have this opportunity, so I will need the input and supervision of their normal leader so that fair treatment and order are maintained (adults are welcome to play as well).

- Learning Centers generally have one slot of time for structured activity during the morning, and another in the afternoon; I will generally perform in two locations per day, another in the evening if I am not teaching privately, rehearsing, performing, or attending Church service.

- The greater distance I travel to reach you, the more likely I can only come during a morning slot.

- I am very flexible other than that, and can fit in group or private lessons such as Suzuki violins, piano, guitar/ukulele, drums, or Kindermusik activity before or after the scheduled Demonstration/Activity Hour.

I offer a sliding scale price for these hands-on demonstrations, workshops, clinics, master-classes, and sing-along times to schools/camps/churches/scouts/groups or individuals. You can also have lessons with me on Zoom, privately at your location, or at my house in Lake Valley Acres of Pemberton Township. I have secured permission to teach and direct groups at the JFK Center in Willingboro NJ, where my proposal was accepted to lower the price and the pressure in high-fun group lessons that have the flexibility of a walk-in basis. 

I teach private lessons on most everything I play; first lesson is usually a free trial. $20 for 20-40 min., $30/hr.

In professional music and recording, I perform, read and improvise well on several instruments in most any style, and I sight-sing tenor range. I have skills in sound recording and reinforcement, arranging, producing and directing. Currently I serve as the Music Minister/Organist at Millenium Baptist Church in the Parkside area of West Philadelphia. I spent many Sundays at Light & Love Evangelistic Church on Simontown Road in Pemberton NJ, and also their new incarnation as Kingdom Life Church at 1 Saylors Pond Rd in Wrightstown NJ. When possible, I have been welcomed back home to Jacob's Chapel AME, Elbo Rd. in Mt. Laurel.
