                      Welcome to Our Church!

We welcome you to the website of Sacred Heart Parish and St. Joseph station! Our hope is that as you browse our site, it will help you  in as many ways as possible to proclaim, to grow in, and to share the goodness and kindness of God our Savior.

The Parishioners of Sacred Heart Parish and St. Joseph Station, as disciples of Jesus Christ, work to serve, love, and to protect the people God has entrusted to us.  We pray that by worshiping God through our participation at Mass and in the sacraments, by studying Sacred Scripture, and by adhering to Catholic teaching, we will be able to grow in our faith and our love for one another

If you are new to our community, or have not yet become a member of our parish we invite and encourage you to register. You can register by calling the Parish Office at (869)-465-6267 Monday-Friday. There are many programs and activities that cater to all age groups and members of you family. We there encourage you to come and fellowship with us sometime.

AEC Caribbean Youth Assembly, Jamaica 2009

Yes people, get ready for a bumper July! The Antilles Episcopal Conference will be having its third youth assembly and this time, it will be held in the Archdiocese of Kingston, Jamaica from July 9 – 20.

AEC Youth Assembly logoThe theme for the assembly is taken from John 4:10: If you only knew what God is offering – evangelizing youths for a fuller life in Christ.

The first youth assembly was held in Curaçao in 1999 and in 2003 we were the hosts. Spiritual preparations for this upcoming event are taking place on the local archdiocesan and vicariate levels as we speak.

The office of Sr Kathy is hoping that at least 300 mature and responsible young persons, ages 16 – 35, will join their fellow regional brothers and sisters as they gather to share their culture and faith with one another.

If you are interested in heading to the land of reggae for a fun and spiritual-filled journey, then call the office of our Youth Secretariat or Sr Kathy Joseph for further information at 624-0454 or email the office at cathyouthsecretariat@gmail.com This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Registration forms are also available from the office.

Map of JamaicaAs we begin the countdown till July, Vision will publish updates monthly. Apparently, some youths have their bags packed already (Ha! Ha!). You can also email us and let us know how your preparations are coming along for the event.

It is hoped that more parishes will get involved and assist in raising funds for the youth who wish to go.  Spread the word, people “big things ah gwan”.
