Welcome.  This is a club where students of extraordinary character, leadership, scholar
ship and service come together.

Meetings happen on the first Wednesday of every month at lunch in Mr Byrd's room.

If you must miss a monthly meeting or NHS event, please contact your advisor ASAP.

A list of your obligations as a member of Scappoose NHS club.  Obligations are determined by national regulations and local by-laws.

Interested in being in NHS?  In the Spring, the advisor will invite all Juniors and Seniors with a 3.5 or above cumulative weighted GPA.  If this is you, review the membership obligations and submit your Membership Application!

Check status of service hours, dues, ISP & obligations.
This master spreadsheet tracks volunteer service hours, dues, ISPs, membership status (active, probation and dismissed) and other obligations.  Hours are tracked by our club secretary.  Click here to see how you're doing with your yearly 20 volunteer hours and 5 all-club hours.  You'll need your NHS membership ID that you choose during the Sept meeting.  Please contact the advisor if you're unsure of your ID.


When you complete community service, print one of these vouchers, fill out then submit to the school's NHS bulletin board folder.  The secretary will track your hours.

Every member needs to complete 5 all-club hours at one of these NHS sponsored events.  We sponsor a few events throughout the year such as the Haunted Hallway, Tutoring, Mentoring (Lunch Buddies, Recess Pals, etc), Blooddrives, etc.  Click here to see what our club is doing this year and find more information about how to take part!
