The Honorable Brother Justin T. Bamberg, an attorney and the State Representative for the House District 90, representing Bamberg, Barnwell and Colleton Counties, was recently the recipient of the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 under 40 for 2017. Brother Bamberg was also recently certified as a Life Member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocate Forum. He stands up for and with his clients, aggressively representing them as a trial attorney and advocate for justice. He has represented clients in a wide array of personal injury matters, and as lead or co-counsel, has represented individuals in some of the highest profile cases in modern American history. Reverend Brother J. Derrick Cattenhead, member of Delta Kappa Lambda Chapter (Florence) and associate pastor of the Central United Methodist Church has become an ordained elder in Full Connection with the South Carolina Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church on June 5, 2017. His mission statement in life is – To Inspire, Encourage, and Empower all people as led by God in this present age. And, he believes in openly sharing God’s love, grace, hope, and empowerment with others in positive ways. Brother Cattenhead also served the District of South Carolina as a past assistant district director in 2002. Please congratulate Reverend Brother J. Congratulations to Brother S. Richard Hagins of Gamma Gamma Lambda (Greenville), CEO of US&S, Inc., in receiving the Chief Executive Boards International Wiley Award. Brother Dr. Jerome L. McClendon of Gamma Gamma Lambda (Greenville), a research assistant professor in the School of Computing at Clemson University, has been named the "Outstanding Greek Life Adviser of the Year." Brother Dr. McClendon, initiated Fall 2004, Omicron Kappa Chapter, has been actively involved as adviser to the Pi Alpha Chapter, Clemson University for the past three (3) years. Bro. McClendon received both a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Auburn University and PhD in Computer Science from Clemson University.Brother Ar’Darius Stewart of Delta Alpha Chapter (Orangeburg), a 2017 graduate of Claflin University, has landed a position as a photojournalist with ABC News 4 in Charleston. We wish him well as he begins his new and exciting career in the media.
