SBC Archiver

SBC Archiver is a file archiver application with strong cryptography and high performance file compression. SBC Archiver features include: Symmetric cryptography: AES/Rijndael, Blowfish, CAST-128, Triple-DES, Twofish and Serpent. Support for files as large as 16 exabytes, billions of files in a single archive, excellent data integrity: CRC16, CRC32, Adler32, MD5, SHA1 and SHA256. Multivolumes, long-filenames, etc...

New compilations (0.970r3) are available. A brief test showed the 64-bit version to be about 10% faster than the new 32-bit version, which is about 5% faster than the old version (0.970r2). I had to make fairly large changes to make the code compile again. Some stuff might function a bit differently now. I might have broken something, so be sure to use the -vc (verify after compression) switch. The file format should be 100% compatible between all SBC versions since v0.969 (released 2002, 6 years ago!). The releases are marked as r3 for revision 3. I didn't have the time to run tests, so let me know how they work.

All the releases below are command line interface (CLI) software. They are provided as is, without any kind of warranty. Use at your own risk.

The older 0.970r2 versions should be very stable and thoroughly tested. Unsbc is optional. It is a minimal program to extract sbc archive files. You don't need it if you've got sbc.
