On the 2nd weekend in May, we held our annual Ice Mt./N.River Mills Day.
In June, 2007, Steph brought the kids to WV for a Grand-Dummies Weekend http://good-times.webshots.com/album/559598249cjHOWc. (When our girls were learning to talk, they combined Mummy and Daddy and called us collectively, "Dummy.") Janet and Michael, dear friends who stayed in Mom and Dad's house for about a year, packed up for Michigan.
It seemed Steve tried to drown himself in his kayak in flatwater.

On August 4, Dad's birthday, many of the Bailes clan gathered at "the Farm" for swimming, rootbeer, a hayless ride, mountain climbing. No Hollywood agents have contacted Steve yet, but he's still waiting. In October he was on Ch. 70, the Style Network, "Married Away". He led the couple who were married at Ice Mt. and the TV crew They were speaking over my cameos, so I guess they were most impressed with my good looks rather than my elocutionary prowess.
In January 2008, the CB charge shared their talents to help Raise over $1200.00 for
mosquito nets in Africa in conjuction with the NBA and Sports Illustrated.
We just recently got information about a quilt which was presented to Rev. and Mrs. E.G. Bailes. The names of the quilters are embroidered on individual squares. We are awaiting exciting news from Sam and Heather. They are expecting a little girl in the end of April.
The Bakers will be coming back East in July. Heather has accepted a church assignment in western Massachusetts.
Terry Lynn and her mom went west the end of January to visit Heather and Sam (CA),
and Joyce, and Chris's family (Idaho).

We are very saddened to hear , cousin, Eloyce Trader, apparently had a massive stroke and is not expected to recover. Some of Steve's earliest and fondest memories involve this mischievious lady. Eloyce is the daughter of the late Lyle and Alma Parsons, wife of Bud, mother of Hal and Kim, and granma to Jake, Erin and Evan. We will miss her tremendous spirit.
