Momma's Magic Mocha
 
It's coffee, it's breakfast, it's quick and easy!

 Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup chilled coffee
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 pkg. or serving chocolate Carnation Instant Breakfast shake (I prefer the milk to dark)
For the chilled coffee, I make mine using 1 Tbsp. coffee grounds (medium roast) to each cup of water; I'll prepare a full pot and store it in the fridge for the week.
 
I also prefer to use coffee cubes versus regular water ice. For this I will typically just brew a second pot with the used grounds and 6 cups of water (I have a 12 cup pot, so half the first amount).
Basic Granola
 
This recipe was found on "My Young Single Adult Life" blog
and am so giddy; it is perfect for parfaits. Previously I had been buying Nature's Valley granola bars to crumble, but they're typically $3 a box, so this will be much cheaper (and easier than beating granola bars with a hammer (LoL) which is probably something I should have tried to use the Magic Bullet for...).

 Ingredients
  • 4 cups rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tsp. cinnamon

Heat together all ingredients except for the rolled oats until mixed well and sugar dissolved; then add rolled oats stirring until everything is mixed well. Spread oats onto baking sheet and bake at 250 for an hour stirring every 15 minutes.

To make this recipe into granola bars Jane recommends pressing the granola onto the baking sheet or cake pan, baking at 300 for 30 minutes, and cutting while still warm.
