Blender 2.5x : Setting up a workflow for particle simulations

This tutorial assumes that you are already familiar with navigating Blender's user interface.

I really like the fact that I can pin the properties windows for specific objects. In this case i pinned the emitter particle system properties, the deflector properties for the sphere and groundplane. And now I dont have to select the objects when i want to tweak and change settings.
