Welcome to the 2020 Saskatoon Blue Jays Baseball season. Please read the following for general information.

Season length: The length of the baseball season varies based on division. The regular season for most divisions begins in early May and can run into late June/early July. For older divisions, city championships, provincial qualifiers and provincials may run into late July. We refer you to the Baseball Saskatchewan website for details pertaining to provincial tournaments.

Equipment: All players are responsible for their own baseball glove, batting helmet and baseball pants.  Uniform distribution will occur through your coach or manager at a later date after team formation. When registering for 11U, 13U, 15U and 18U Divisions please ensure your players cap size and jersey size are indicated when prompted. When registering for the RallyCap divisions please select adjustable cap and indicate your player's jersey size and preferred number (RallyCap players will keep their jersey at the end of the season). Please see our website for instructions on determining fitted cap size and jersey size under the registration tab.

Registration: As in previous years, all players wanting to join the AAA teams MUST be able to commit to the following: City Championships, Provincial Qualifiers, Provincial Championships and Westerns/Nationals if the team qualifies. City Wide 15U AAA: all players interested in trying out for 15U AAA must register both with the Blue Jays zone (15U City Wide AAA package - no cost) and the Saskatoon 15U AAA Baseball League (www.sbaaabl.ca).

Coaching: Prospective Coaches must complete and submit a coaching application form and are required to be certified at the level appropriate for the division they coach. Coaching clinics are held throughout the season.

Have you ever considered becoming an umpire? The growth of baseball in our community will mandate more umpires to support all divisions.  If you are a current or past player, parent/guardian, grandparent, or baseball enthusiast umpiring may be a way to stay involved in the game,  grow the sport in Saskatoon and to make a little extra money. Please see our website for available umpiring clinics this spring.

All registration will be online through our website, with registration fee payment through online credit card only. Those who cannot access online registration or cannot register via credit card can contact the registrar, Kelly Coverett, for registration purposes at 306-664-4799.  Avoid late registration fees ($25) and register as early as possible.
