20. Sarvilahti Marathon

Time and place

2.11.2024, Rauhala Park, Lovisa. Parking at Loviisa Ice Hall, Seppäläntie 21. Signposted guidance from the parking lot to the starting line approx. 400 m from the ice arena.

Races

M/W marathon, M/W half marathon. An officially measured half-marathon route that is run twice in a marathon.

M/W, M45/W45, M55/W55 10 km. An officially measured 5 km route, which is run twice in 10K race.

M/W, M17/W17, B15/G15 5 km. Officially measured 5 km route.

B9/G9, B11/G11, B13/G13 approx. 1,6 km route in Rauhala Park.

9:00             Registration opens

10:30           Late registration for 11 am and 11:15 am starts ends

11:00           Marathon and half marathon start

11:15           5 and 10 km race start

13:30           Late registration 1.6 km race ends.

14:00           1,6 km race start

17:00           The finish closes

Timing

The race is run as a combined start. The results shall include the net time from crossing the starting line to crossing the finish line.

The event has an electronic timing on behalf of the organizer. The maximum time is 6 hours.

Route lengths: half 21098.49 meters and marathon 42196.98 meters.

5K and 10K will be run on a 5 km track in the Rauhala district.  The starting and finishing line is shared with the marathon.

Route lengths: 5K 5000.59 m and 10K 10001.18 m.

The 1.6 km race is run in Rauhala Park in two laps of approx. 800 m. The route is partly a dirt road in the park and partly an asphalted pedestrian and bicycle road. The route has not been officially measured.

Prices: marathon/half 30 eur, 5/10 km 25 eur. Junior series 10 eur.

Pre-registration online by 25.10.2024.

Late registration on site by 10:30 marathon/half 35 eur, 5/10 km 30 eur. Late registration for the junior series 1,6 km by 13:30 15 eur.

Payment by cash or card.

Race instructions

The instructions will be updated before the race and sent to registered participants by email.

Awards

Each runner who registers in advance receives a medal. Late registrations cannot be guaranteed a medal.

Series winners receive their 20th SLM commemorative trophy.
