From 1996 to 2006 I have had the pleasure of knowing and teaching over 3000 wonderful young men and women from both Alhambra High School (3 years) and Cesar Chavez High School (7 years).   Through those years I have seen two of you from Chavez HS get accepted into West Point Military Academy and I've seen one of you from Alhambra HS receive the highest award a cadet can receive, the Legion of Valor.  I have seen several of you enlist in the military to proudly serve your country.  I have also seen thousands of you graduate from high school and attend college.  My last year at Alhambra, 1999, those of you that were members of the Drill Team Won the State Drill Championship.  My last year at Cesar Chavez, 2006, those of you that were members of that Drill Team also won the State Drill Championship.  Not very many Instructors can say they won two State Drill Team Championship Titles with two different schools.  Also during my last year of teaching JROTC (2006) I had the honor of taking four of you that were members of the Color Guard Team from Cesar Chavez High School to the National Drill Competition in Daytona Beach, FL where you placed 8th in the Nation.  Honors like these and cadets like you make me proud to have been your JROTC Instructor.
The Collection of pictures on this web site is dedicated to all of you JROTC Cadets from both high schools, where ever you may be.  Thank You for sharing this web site with me, Thank You for the wonderful memories, and most of all, Thank You for being one of my Cadets.
