Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) affects every child differently. We work with children who are non-verbal and use PECS (a picture exchange system) to highly functioning children with Austism who can communicate effectively but have difficulty relating to peers and need substantial social support. I have created several scripts that help children understand what their expectations are in a given social situation.
