BIG Event: Demo Competition

In July 2014, I attended the BIG Event. BIG is the Stem Communicators Network in the UK. Once a year the members get together to share skills and ideas. Part of this is the fun demo competition which takes place immediately before the BIG dinner.

I shared a slightly modified version of my "Can I eat my bogeys?" demo which is aimed at KS1 children. I was more than ably assisted by Jon Wood (in the role of a five year-old) and the whole thing was filmed by Greg Foot. Thanks for your help guys!

In 2013, the BBC followed my 'Growing a Loaf' project. The children from Garsington CE Primary School were featured on BBC Radio 4 Farming Today, BBC Radio Oxford Phil Gayle and BBC Oxford News. The iPlayer footage is still available to view.
