Sarah Banks PTSA

The PTSA supports many programs and activities at Sarah Banks, including:

·         Bulldog Bash - A fun social event after school for the kids to hang out with their friends in a social setting with activities etc 

·         Student Recognition/Bulldog Best - An event giving recognition to outstanding students who are nominated by teachers for holding up Sarah Banks’ 5 pillars of success throughout the year.

.   Paw Print Award -Provide prizes for this teacher/staff initiated recognition of daily small acts of kindness.

·         Spirit Wear- Organize, sell, distribute

·         Book Fair- Provide support and assist with

.   Provide Meals  - Provide meals for staff of some long days (ie. conferences)

·         Student Artwork Displays -Provide funding for framing and displays for art.

·         Reflections

·         Grounds Beautification

·         8th Grade Farewell Dance/Celebration - Financially support this event.

·         Assemblies

·         Classroom Supplies - When a need arises we support staff in these needs (example: 3D printers for Design Tech)

·         Staff Appreciation Week - Organize and execute food and gift for the week to honor our staff

·         8th Grade Washington D.C. Field Trip

Studies have proven children do better in school and become more productive young adults by having parents who are active and involved with their school community.

 There are many ways to get involved at the middle school level.  Some time commitments are an hour or two, while others can be more, but, we could really use your help with the following committees:
