My book on argumentation published by John Benjamins http://www.benjamins.com/cgi-bin/t_bookview.cgi?bookid=AIC%203

This book was the third in the John Benjamins series "Argumentation in Context" but the first to deal with argumentation in a specific communication context.
My work has been reviewed (review article) in 2012 by Darrin Hicks on the Journal of Argumentation in Context (see the review here). There is also a brief review by S. Bigi on the journal L'Analisi Linguistica e Letteraria (see here).

I am a lecturer and a post-doc researcher working on argumentation;  my background and perspective is largely indebted to linguistic semantics and pragmatics. I have an interdisciplinary interest in social and cultural psychology, developed as I was studying themes like conflict and inner dialogue.
Since March 2012, I am a Lecturer (I teach mediation and argumentation) as Well as a post-doc researcher at the Institute for Argumentation, Linguistics and Semiotics of USI-University of Lugano, Switzerland. I am also a scientific collaborator (and previously I was a lecturer) at the University of Neuchâtel.
In 2011-2012, I have been a visting researcher at the University of Surrey (Guilford, UK) with Prof. Martyn Barrett and I was part of an inter-university research consortium on migration called CRONEM. From September 2010 to February 2011 I have been a visiting lecturer at University College London, Migration Research Unit. Previously I was a researcher at the University of Lugano and University of Neuchâtel (Switzerland). I am still a research associate at IPE, University of Neuchâtel. I am equally a Research fellow at the International Learned Institute for Argumentation Studies (ILIAS).
