Pattern (resizable)

«Resizable pattern»  – is a kind of form component «Pattern»  and inherit most of its properties and principles of that, but has its own characteristics.

The main characteristic of «Resizable pattern» is an ability to resize by width or height with merging of nearby cells.

Runtime size of «Resizable pattern» depends of subarea. Subarea is an area occupied by all «Patterns» on the lower levels. Subarea is represented in the tree of the form structure as child-components under «Resizable pattern».

The «Resizable pattern» can also have another «Resizable patterns» as child-components to provide multi-level formatting.

Item «Merge cells»

The item defines the direction to merge cells at the «Resizable pattern» (R.P.

  •  Span rows. Means, the subarea will be placed at RIGHT-side of R.P. Herewith, the R.P. will be increasing vertical, with span of rows.

    Note 1: In this case 
    R.P. can be assigned to template area, that have only SINGLE ROW (an arbitrary number of columns).
    Note 2: Subarea can be placed both as at right-side, as at left-side of R.P . This is defined in the item «Place relative to Subarea».

  •  Span columns. Means, the subarea will be placed BELOW the R.P. Herewith, the R.P. will be increasing horizontal, with span of columns.

    Note 1: In this case 
    R.P. can be assigned to template area, that have only SINGLE COLUMN (an arbitrary number of rows).
    Note 2: Subarea can be placed both as below, as above of R.P . This is defined in the item «Place relative to Subarea».

The item defines will Resizable pattern be placed before (left-side or above) it's subarea, or after (right-side or below).
