Santiago I. Sautua

I am a Research Professor of economics at Tecnológico de Monterrey.

My research combines economic theory, insights from behavioral science, and experiments to understand the foundations of economic decision-making, with a focus on individual decisions under uncertainty, prosocial behavior, consumer markets, and market regulation. My work addresses psychological factors that could significantly affect economic behavior, such as indecisiveness, regret, loss aversion, affective/emotional state, other-regarding preferences, cognitive limitations, and motivated beliefs.
