Shopping Center & Malls

Looking to increase visibility and improve traffic count? A clean, 'green' Aeronautica Wind Turbine can be a magnet for attention. Use them to power street lights, common areas, signage or even store space. Depending on your lease and utility agreements with tenants we may even be able to help you form a 'micro-utility', selling your tenants green power at attractive, long-term rates.

Our commercially sized turbines are of the size that can fit into many parking areas or other open areas around the shops. These machines offer a low profile, ultra-low noise signatures and highly efficient output - providing the perfect balance between economic output and acceptable size.

Many owners are considering the investment in wind power in order to sell power to their on-site tenants. Others simply wish to reduce or eliminate the electricity they use from the grid. Many new net-metering rules will allow you to generate power on one site, and credit the power to meters at other locations.

If you have the land but don’t have the funding, you’ll appreciate that these machines qualify for our Aeronautica Power Play© program. This program lets you - the landowner - obtain the benefits of sustainable wind generated power, without the investment required. In short, you put up the land, and we’ll put up the turbine.

Municipal Applications

If you are looking for wind turbines to fit on many public properties or for 'Community Wind' projects, look no further than the Aeronautica/Norwin line. Designed specifically for mid-scale market applications or small wind parks, these machines deliver lots of power. And with their low profile, ultra-low noise signatures and highly efficient output, they provide the perfect balance between economic output and acceptable size. These turbines are perfect for many types of organizations, including schools, town halls, hospitals and other municipal buildings.

If you are a town administrator, consider Aeronautica Wind Turbines to create your own ‘Power Authorities’ for municipal uses. Many new net-metering rules allow you to generate power on one site, and credit the power to meters at other town-owned locations.

If you have the land but don’t have the funding, you’ll appreciate that these machines may qualify for our Aeronautica Power Play© program. This program lets you - the town or city - obtain the benefits of sustainable wind generated power, without the investment required. If your site qualifies for our program, your organization receives an immediate reduction in electrical costs, and your electricity prices are fixed for many years into the future. You save money, your budgeting just got easier and more predictable, and the world gets greener. Everyone wins.

But whether you finance your own turbine project through bonding, or use the Aeronautica Power Play© program, you get the satisfaction of knowing that your organization is now contributing to the greening of America and the strengthening our local and national economies by lessening our dependence on foreign oil.

Energy for Growers

If you truly desire to 'harvest the wind', our new 225 and 750kW turbines are a perfect choice for most net-metering or small wind farm applications.  Many farmers and growers are discovering how wind power can be a valuable second 'cash crop' - without disrupting your existing operations.

Our network of national dealers, installers and service technicians can provide your agricultural operation with just the commercial sized equipment it needs to harvest the wind.  Ownership structures range from outright ownership of the entire project to bringing in a developer/operator who pays you a land lease.  We can help create just the type of ownership structure you desire or can afford.

 Neighborhood Net Metering

One of the most exciting new applications of wind power occurs in areas where there is a provision to allow neighbors to band together and share electricity generated from the wind. Excess generation from one land parcel is allowed to be shared within a collective 'group' at retail rates, which greatly improves wind power economics. These so called 'Neighborhood Net-Metering’ regulations will revolutionize the use of open lands, allowing farmers and growers of all types to join with their neighbors in producing home grown, green electricity.

By using ‘mid-scale’ wind turbines that are large enough to be economical - yet not too large to be offensive, farms, nurseries, ranches, cranberry bogs and many other agricultural land owners will now be able to harvest a second crop - electricity - and economically feed it to hundreds of friends and neighbors.
The best part is that your existing operation doesn’t have to change at all. Our wind turbines use very little actual land area, allowing you to continue to provide the other much needed local agricultural products your customers rely on you for. Massachusetts has taken the lead in providing Neighborhood Net-Metering, but many other states are beginning to follow.

We are proud to be a part of this new wave of creating North American Energy and reducing our reliance on foreign oil. Our wind turbines are built right here in Massachusetts, contributing to the national economy with jobs and services. Along with our national network of qualified local dealers and installers we can provide all of the required expertise, tools, financing and collateral services required - allow you to spend your time on the farm, doing what you do best.
