Remembering Our Mom

It's just hard to believe Mom isn't here with us.
In June of 2016, Mom was diagnosed with Lung Cancer along with her COPD.
She made the decision to just leave it there and take it with her!
She'd rather live life while she was able... and she DID!
Earlier in the year she was going strong - keeping up with playing cards,
mowing her yard, hanging with his friends ... just slowing down some!
She was still driving and mowing in July.
It then became difficult for her to breath and she needed oxygen.
We decided that someone always needed to be with her,
so her kids set up a rotation schedule.
We were all in town for the cousin reunion on July 21st and together
we decided it was time to get set up with hospice. So thankful we did.
She was on hospice less than 8 weeks always with one or more of her
kids staying with her. These were very good days with our dear mother.
Thankful we had them! Then on September 12, 2018 she passed
on peacefully. We love you Mom and miss you here!
