About the Author

Dr. Sandy Cameli (EdD) has been an educator for three decades working with students in various grade levels & learning environment, however, finding her niche' at the middle school level.  In 2013, she completed her doctoral dissertation "Assessing the Relevance of Current Character-based Programming - the General Learner Outcomes - for 21st Century Learners in Hawai'i's Public Middle Schools", in order to support character education and Advisory programs for early adolescents. She currently serves on the Hawai'i Assn. of Middle Schools (HAMS) State Board and is a member of the Association for Middle Level Education (AMLE). Her writing pieces and publications support all educators seeking best practices in character education for K-8 learners.
