I am an Assistant Professor at Emory University's QTM department. Prior to joining Emory, I was a postdoc at NYU's Development Research Institute, where I am currently a research affiliate.
I hold a Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, in addition to a bachelors and masters degree from Universidad de los Andes, Colombia.
I work in the areas of econometrics, causal inference, machine learning, and network analysis. My current research agenda is dedicated to developing statistical tools to improve the evaluation of poverty-alleviation programs.
I speak English, Spanish, French and German.
