I am Research Director at the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (FCCA) and a member of the executive board. As the head of the Research and Advocacy department, I'm involved in planning and supervising our research projects and policy analyses on various topics in competition and consumer policy. 

My research contribution in the projects typically concerns modelling firm and consumer behaviour in various markets from pharmaceuticals and mobile subscriptions to taxis and rail transport. My general area of research is applied microeconomic theory. In particular, I am interested in the following fields: Industrial Economics, Regional and Urban Economics , and Public Choice.
