I am currently an NRC post-doc at the Naval Research Lab in Washington DC. I obtained my PhD in Astronomy/Astrophysics at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan in July 2020. I received my dual Bachelors of Science degrees in Astronomy & Astrophysics and Interdisciplinary Physics w/ a focus on Astrophysics from the University of Michigan in May 2014. I am originally from Benton Harbor, Michigan and a proud product of Coloma Community Schools -- Go Comets!
My research interests include compact neutron star binary systems such as transitional millisecond pulsar systems (tMSPs), high & low mass X-ray binaries (XRBs), and accreting millisecond pulsars (AMXPs). I also have done work related to stellar evolution, formation, and variability, as well as long baseline optical interferometry.
