PhD Student

Ongoing Research:

Hi! Starting from Fall'16, I am a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at University of Rochester. Advised by M Ehsan Hoque, I work in the ROCHCI group in the area of Human Computer Interaction.

I work on improving video-conferencing based group meetings, by analyzing people's behavior and emotion. I build platforms incorporated with feedback in different ways (real-time, post, etc.) in different forms (visual, temporal, etc.) on different features (facial emotion, voice projection, context relevance, and so many many more) for different discussion types (consensus based, political agenda, etc.). To me, technology is fun to work with; and developing solutions with the help of technologies make me confident. My research interest lies in designing technological solutions to human-centric virtual and real world problems.

Recently (May 7, 2018) I have got the MS in CS from UofR, with the topic "Automated Machine Mediation in Video Conferencing based Group Disucssions".
