Salvatore Talarico is currently a wireless systems architect at Intel Corporation, Santa Clara, California. He received his PhD degree from the Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at West Virginia University, Morgantown, USA, under the supervision of Prof. Matthew C. Valenti in 2015. He received the BSc and MEng degrees from University of Pisa in Italy under the supervision of Prof. Agostino Monorchio in 2006 and 2007, respectively. His research interests are in wireless communications, applied information theory, signal processing, and software defined radio.

He is a member of IEEE, IEEE ComSoc, IEEE SPS, a member of Eta Kappa Nu and WVU Amateur Radio Club (FCC licence: KD8RCX).
