    The 20th Symposium About Language and Society-Austin (SALSA) will be held April 13-15 at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas with the theme “Languages and Cultures in Contact.” We are currently inviting abstracts for papers to be presented at the conference. We especially invite papers that discuss effects of contact--both social and linguistic--on language structure, language use, and language choice.

All sessions will be held on campus at the University of Texas at Austin.
